Born and raised in Seattle, I came to the Midwest on a hockey scholarship. I played for Ohio State. Met a beautiful Ohio girl. Got married. Found my first ad job in Detroit. And, have pretty much been here ever since; raising three great boys along the way.

So, what do you get with me? A writer/creative director focused on connecting people and brands through authentic experiences that are meaningful, lasting and yes, transactional. To do it well, you need more than technology and design. You need storytelling. I’m a storyteller.

My work continues to evolve as the needs and wants of my clients expand. My experience spans a wide variety of verticals, projects, platforms and solutions. The constant: Ideas and content that bring people and brands closer together.

I know how to both win, and retain, business. I've done each while working at agencies like Wunderman, Y&R and Accenture Interactive. I blend confidence with humility. I infuse seasoned experience with youthful curiosity. I temper passion with empathy. And I’m driven by the notion that “good enough” sucks.
